PT. PATOCHEMI MURNI ADITAMA
LABORATORY SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT & CHEMICAL
EXCLUSIVE AGENT FOR :
Instron's product lines use electromechanical and servohydraulic technology to perform tensile, fatigue, structural, hardness and impact testing. While capable of addressing a tremendous range of applications and many different market segments, they share technology and components in ways that best fit customer requirements. Each product line is able to take advantage of complementary strengths found in others.
Instron Material Testing (IMT)
Electromechanical (EM)
Electromechanical test instruments are the most widely used Instron products. Often referred to as universal testers, with applications in almost every industry, their uses range from testing the texture of food products to measuring the strength properties of ceramics at extremely high temperatures.
As Instron's primary product line, EM is a significant source of technology that can be applied to other product lines. For example, today Wilson hardness testers show more accurate results because they now use EM's electronic architecture and load cell system.
Servohydraulic (Fatigue) Systems (SH)
With servohydraulic systems, test materials can be repeatedly deformed to simulate in-use conditions over a long period of time. SH instruments can stretch and compress a sample while simultaneously twisting it or subjecting it to other forms of complex loading.
A typical SH system is likely to include components that are interchangeable with our electromechanical systems - software, grips, temperature chambers and data analysis capabilities.
Universal Hydraulic Testing Systems
This family of universal test systems includes some of the most rugged and durable machines ever made. Developed for high capacity tension, compression, bend, and shear testing these frames are powered by a hydraulic pumping system that moves a piston assembly to provide the forces necessary for testing.
Hardness
A hardness testing instrument works by forcing an 'indentor' into the material's surface. The depth of penetration or size of the impression is the measure of the material's hardness.
Instron is the leader in 'Rockwell' testing, the most widely used method of evaluating hardness. The Series 2000 Rockwell testing instrument is considered state of the art. With our electromechanical digital control technology, the repeatability and reliability of our Rockwell tests have improved beyond anything else currently available on the market.
Shore
For hardness testing of elastomers and plastics, SHORE Durometers are perfect. Shore Instruments conform to all ASTM standards, are easy to use and affordably priced.
Impact Testing
Impact testing instruments measure fracture properties or energy absorbed after an impact event.
Satec pendulum testers offer accurate Izod, Charpy, and tensile impact testing for plastics and metals in low cost and rugged systems.
Our impact products also include much more sophisticated Dynatup instrumented impact testers for determining fracture and energy absorbing properties of polymers and components.
Other Products and Accessories
Instron also offers products such as spring testing and asphalt binder testers; a wide range of accessories; and proprietary software systems.
Accessories include application software, grips, fixtures, optical and video extensometers that precisely measure deformation of material without contacting it, robotic devices that automatically feed test specimens into systems, and environmental control chambers, furnaces and accessories for tests at extreme temperatures.
Instron Structural Testing and Simulation (IST)
Structural testing systems determine the durability and integrity of complete structures or sub-assemblies, usually in multi-axis test systems that replicate end use conditions.
They are primarily used in the automotive industry to test car components such as suspensions, steering systems and other components and sub-assemblies as well as full vehicles. Each system is engineered to meet specific customer requirements.
Evaluating and improving safety devices in vehicles requires simulation of real-life crashes. To achieve reliable test results, IST offers a catapult system that is an important tool for achieving reliable test results and helping automotive companies design safer products.
